Challenge:
To create an engaging interactive experience for a non-profit organization by raising awareness and celebrating 25 years of community service.

Strategy:
Some of our biggest challenges included a tight time frame, limited assets and client proximity.

We divided up our roles and then researched the organization and their competition. Next, we brainstormed before launching into the design process. Inspiration was drawn from other successful interactive experiences. Next content was gathered and illustrations and mock templates were created. Videos supplied by the client were edited.

An approachable tone was established through the use of a muted colour palette and friendly

language. An illustration of a cross-Canada journey reinforced the client’s national presence. We highlighted client testimonials. An area was dedicated for users to upload and share their experiences to help spread the word.

Visible and persistent calls-to-actions, such as a donate button, appear above the fold and offers ease of participation.

Solution:
The final solution was a clickable prototype of an engaging story-driven microsite which celebrates Hope Air’s 25 years of success through client testimonials, compelling infographics and per-
sistent calls-to-action.
